Carl Richard Jimney, 60, of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed away peacefully at his home on August 15, 2024. Born in Washington, DC, on September 5, 1963, Carl was a lifelong resident of Prince George’s County, MD.
Carl was the beloved son of the late David William Jimney and the late Barbara Ann Zanelotti. He is survived by and cherished by his stepmother, Helen Jimney of Upper Marlboro, MD and his brother, David Louis Jimney, of Lusby, MD.
A proud graduate of Suitland High School, Carl spent his career as a CDL Truck Driver, contributing to the local community with his hard work and dedication. Beyond his professional life, Carl was committed to serving others through his involvement with the District Heights Volunteer Fire Department and the Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department.
Carl’s presence in the community and his dedication to public service will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, hard work, and service to others will be remembered for years to come.
