Cara Lee Naumoff, 62, of Prince Frederick, Maryland, passed away on December 12, 2025 at her home. She was born on December 21, 1962, in Prince George’s County to Janice Marie (Bell) and Harry Joseph Lohman. Cara grew up in Accokeek, Maryland, and attended Gwynn Park High School, graduating class of 1980. She then found employment at Budweiser, starting out as a receptionist and working her way up to head of the accounts receivable department. She married Anthony Thomas Naumoff on October 7, 1988, and devoted herself fully to her family, raising their sons, Alec and Myles, as a stay-at-home mom. After her boys were grown, she worked for DCS Pax River as a project secretary. In her leisure time, she loved relaxing by the pool or at the beach and she loved shopping for bargains, expressing her artistic talent through crafting, cruising in the Cobra or Mustang GT convertible, touring and tasting at wineries and breweries, and supporting the Python racing team with her husband as part of the pit crew. Anything outside and in the sunshine. She was a loyal friend, a loving wife, a caring mother, and a doting grandmother.

Cara is survived by her husband Tony Naumoff; and her sons Myles (Taylor), Alec (Sharyn); grandchildren Oliver, Felix, and Lainey Mae, Evelyn and Delilah; sister Lori (Danny) Degollado, and brother Kurt Lohman (Patty). She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Janice Lohman; uncles Ronnie Howell, and Dave Howell.

December 21 – Obituary: Cara Lee Naumoff

Friend since the fifth grade, Cara is deeply and mournfully missed by me. I had hoped to visit again with her and Tony, Lori and Danny again – but this time in Florida on one of their annual trips down to Sebring for the races. A shining soul.

Our time to together was too short, but so lucky to have that time with Cara, and the Python crew at races! We had such fun and laughs!

Our thoughts and prayers are to Tony, and family.  May your tears slowly fade, and be replaced with all the smiles that you have from all the years.

Love, Scott and Lois

December 17 – Obituary: Cara Lee Naumoff

My family moved from West Virginia into the house next door to Cara and Lori when I was 6. They were my very first friends. One of the first things Cara did was kick me in the shin because she could not understand my accent. HAHA! We shared many fun times over the last 58 years. Cara is a lovely person with a big heart. She fought so hard and stayed so positive. I will remember and miss her always.

Cara was one of the most thoughtful, loving and caring persons I had ever met, who I met her and Tony through my wife Pam. I cried when you left and we will meet again on the other side. Love you and miss you.

Such sad news. I met Cara when my family first moved to Maryland and I joined the PTA at Calvert Elementary. Her son Miles and my daughter Kelsey were in classes together starting in 2nd grade. Cara was a kind and fun loving person. My deep heartfelt condolences to Tony, Miles, Alec and the rest of their family. Prayers for comfort and peace.
