The Santiago family was deeply saddened to hear this news about beloved Burl! We know he is no longer in pain but his wonderful personality will live on. He will be greatly missed and our memory of him cherished for the short time we knew him. What a magnanimous character! This is a man who just pruned our trees for the sake of it and made himself available for a quick hangout at our porch. He was part of our family and we celebrated just about every time he was in town. Burl, you were everyone’s neighbor, wherever you were. Rest in peace, good kind soul!
The Maxey Family sends are love & prayers to Helen, David, Michael and Debbie.
We are saddened to hear of our good friend Burls passing. We will remember the many good times on our trips to New York and the many visits , shows etc.
We are honored to have been friends with such a good man.
Love, Karen
I met Burl in 2014 and became good friends with him. He taught me so much about handguns and was a walking encylopedia on handguns. We both worked at Buds Gun Shop and Indoor Range In Tennessee for several years before he left to spend more time with his wife and family. I was privileged to know him and having him as a friend!
