In Loving Memory of Bobie Jo Rogers
Bobie Jo Rogers, age 49, passed away on June 14, 2026. She was born on May 14, 1977, at Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington, D.C. Bobie lived a life marked by service, dedication, faith, and above all, love for her family.
Bobie spent the last nine years residing in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland. She grew up in Anne Arundel County and graduated from South River High School in Edgewater, Maryland. Following graduation, she attended the Montgomery County Fire Academy and proudly served with the Montgomery County Fire Department from 1999 until 2005. Her career as a firefighter came to an end after she sustained injuries while attempting a rescue during a fire call, a testament to her courage and commitment to helping others.
A hardworking entrepreneur, Bobie was the owner and operator of Cracks and Krevasis Cleaning Services in Southern Maryland. She took pride in her work and built lasting relationships with those she served.
Bobie was a faithful member of Chesapeake Fellowship Christian Church in Davidsonville, Maryland, where she found strength, fellowship, and spiritual guidance.
More than any accomplishment, Bobie’s greatest joy and proudest role was being a mother. Her daughter, Mackenzie, was truly the love of her life. Bobie devoted herself to supporting and encouraging Mackenzie in every activity she pursued, always present with unwavering love, enthusiasm, and pride.
Bobie is survived by her beloved daughter, Mackenzie; her paternal grandmother, Teresa Rogers; her maternal grandparents, Mike and Antonia Duryee; her father, Robert Rogers Jr. and his wife, Pamela; her mother, Jo Ciatto and her husband, Scott; her sister, Brandy Rogers, and nephew, Reece Hall; her brother, Cole Rogers, and niece, Penelope Rogers; as well as many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members whose lives she touched throughout her years.
Bobie will be remembered for her strength, generosity, determination, and the deep love she shared with family and friends. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she impacted and through the daughter she adored.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rausch Funeral Home in Owings, Maryland, with the assistance of Montgomery County Fire Service. Dates and times will be announced and posted on the Rausch Funeral Home’s website Service Schedule as they become available.
Though her time with us was far too short, Bobie’s memory will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
