Basil McRay Cox, 72, of Gretna, VA passed away August 13, 2020. He was born March 4, 1948 in Cheverly to Lillian Rebecca Tedder and Cecil McRay Cox. Basil is survived by his sister Diane Cox Smith and her husband Larry, nieces Melissa Sunderland Lanham, Sandra Moufti, Cynthia Prince, Lisa Boudreau, Carol Bilboa, Melissa Riley, and Tracey Peters, nephews Dean Sunderland, Jr., Kenneth Cox, Karl Cox, Johnny Williams, and Gene Cox, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
