Ashley Autumn Wright
October 3, 1987 – February 19, 2024
Ashley Autumn Wright, 36, of Prince Frederick, Maryland, passed away February 19, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1987, in Clinton, Maryland, to Frankie Lee and Vivian (Tantala) Wright.
Ashley grew up in Saint Leonard, Maryland. From an early age she loved playing outside, enjoying life on the water. She had a fondness for all animals, and very fluffy dogs in particular. Ashley was known for her unique sense of style with lots of pink and all things glittery. She fiercely loved her longtime boyfriend, Matthew. Ashley graduated early from Patuxent High School in 2004 and attended Salisbury University, graduating with a degree in Human Resources in 2009. After graduating, Ashley’s free-spirited nature called her to move to Upstate New York, where she was blessed with her beautiful daughter Persephony in 2013. She and Persephony then moved to Ohio to be near her brother Frank and his family. Eventually life on the Patuxent called her home and she moved back to enjoy time with her father Frankie, grandmother Shirley, sister LeAlyson, and lifelong friend Aimee. Ever the adventurer, Ashley loved going on road trips with Persephony, her nieces, Annabella and Carmella, and her nephew Gabriel, to the beach, the Poconos, and South Carolina. Ashley loved to spend her time with Persephony fishing, crabbing, and taking care of their dogs.
From Persephony: “Me and my mom are awesome!”
Ashley is survived by her daughter, Persephony; siblings Kenneth Wright of South Carolina, and LeAlyson and her fiancé Michael of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; nieces Annabella, and Carmella; family friend Matt Wonneman, and mother, Vivian. Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Frankie Wright.
