Angela Marie Fricia, 38, of Sunderland passed away January 20, 2025. She was born October 30, 1986 in Prince George’s County to Michael Fricia and Teresa Townsend. Angela grew up in Calvert County where she was active in cheerleading with the Dunkirk Warriors and dance at Diane’s School of Dance. She graduated from Northern High School in 2004. Angela enjoyed demolition derbies, and she loved her cats.
Angela is survived by her son Drew Fricia, father Mike Fricia and his wife Susan, mother Teresa Stancliff and her husband Keith, and her brother Joseph Fricia.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I went to Northern with Angela and specifically remember her lighting up every hallway and room that she would enter with a beam of light and positivity. She was always so happy, outgoing, smiling and kind to everyone. Now she is a beautiful angel, watching over and cheering her loved ones on from Heaven.

Forever your world. I love you Angie, I wished I would’ve came when you called me last week. You took care of me and made me a better person. Times got hard and you were still there. I love you and sleeping now is gonna be hard. Forever, Marie, I know the real you and your heart. It hurts because I can’t send anything to your son but your memories will never die with me.
