My precious Goddaughter, Allison Marjorie Carroll Smith, you will be missed forever! You will live in all of our hearts as a wonderfully caring and loving and dynamic prescience ! Above all you were an adoring daughter, the best sister, niece , cousin, Aunt, friend and most importantly awesome mother to Mykala and Evan. Love you so much! Aunt Janet
We extend our deepest condolences to Evan, Mykayla, Maureen, Justin and Allison’s Carroll and Smith family. We have had the honor of knowing Allison and her family since Evan and our son were infants. As it happens with parents, your children and their activities tend to choose your friends. I will be forever grateful to our boys for bringing Allison’s light into our world and all of the memories made together. Her picture and tribute capture the essence of Allison inside and out. In the midst of the demands of daily life and motherhood, Allison was always the one that made sure our close knit group of friends got together. She made time for what is truly important and fulfilling in life, worked and played hard, was fiercely protective of her family and friends, an advocate for anyone that needed one, and always managed to find the humor in most situations. We will continue to hold you in our thoughts and hearts, cherish our continued friendship, gather in her honor, and be comforted by knowing that a little of Allison’s light glows in all that knew her.
I had the privilege of working with with Allison over the past several years during her time with Workday… Her positive energy was felt by everyone she worked with… May perpetual light shine upon her! My sincere condolences to the entire family.
To Allison’s family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Allison in our McLean, VA office for the last 6 years. While I hadn’t seen Allison in over a year (due to Covid), we kept in touch over email/phone. She and I would be in the office regularly, and share stories about our children, DC sports and Caribbean travel. When I think of Allison, I think of someone who was warm, caring, fun to be around and always smiling. I’m so sorry for your loss – she will be missed.
We are just devastated by the loss of Allison. My heart goes out to Maureen, Mykala, Evan, Jen, Becky, and all the rest of the big extended Carroll family. Allison’s smile lit up every room. I will cherish the times I got to spend with her and the family in Ocean City, at Nationals games, and at Spring Training in FL, especially when Allison got a whole restaurant up dancing to Motown tunes with her. She was so full of life and so warm and friendly. Our condolences to the whole family.

Hey Allison, BA, Queen of cheese!
Since the first time that I met you and forevermore. Everyone I ever meet will experience you. Forgive me because I’m not ready to let you go. I may never manage to do that. You gave me life. You taught me love and managed to make me love. Not just the love people say but one of safety respect and patience. You are hands down, the person that formed this person and everyone you you touched. You know that my love for all those close will go on. The patience and understanding that you sowed in me will be the most important thing I ever carry forward. We will make it to Easter Island I promise. I’m happy you know how much you were loved. I love you and always will. So so much. Olive and Otis know. They know about mykayla and Evan too. I’m sorry we never got to do our thing, but I hope they meet all the same. You are and always will be my guiding light, my anchor, my friend and so much more. Love you BA, you’re just the best. I’m sorry my words aren’t enough. Oh my gosh that smile. I promise, I totally promise I will be here for you and yours. And I hope to see the album you promised to show me and give the album of us to the people who are part of who you are. Thank you for the best times of my life. Your little me, Umar.
Kisses, MMA!

Words can’t describe how sorry I am to your entire family. I was lucky enough to work with Allison for years at Workday and at SAP, I would have hired her at any company I could if she let me! She was simply the best, not just a great salesperson, she was such an amazing person, who as others have noted, brought people together with her welcoming personality and genuine caring nature. But she didn’t take any crap either! This made her the best. Everyone wanted to work with Al and it was one of my proudest moments seeing her flourish in her career. Know she was an ever greater Mom, Daughter, Sister, Friend and more. Family was everything to her. My deepest condolences as I know how big she was in all of your lives.
My heartfelt condolences to Allison’s family, especially her children who she adored. I had the pleasure of meeting Allison when she came up to Boston to attend Workday meetings and again in Newport, RI for a team event. I will most remember Allison as someone who connected people – when she reached out over this last year to stay in touch, she decided to create a happy hour event to include others who might feel disconnected while we worked from home….2 or 3 people on a Zoom call turned into 10 and then 15 because she was such a beautiful and welcoming person. She will be missed. Her family and friends are in our prayers.
I am absolutely heartbroken to learn of Allison’s tragic death. The world has lost a beautiful person. I enjoyed a really special friendship with Allison over these last few years that grew from co-workers to two hard working moms sharing stories and laughs and catch up calls whenever we had time. Allison I will always remember you with love and affection. To Allison’s 2 children and family, please accept my deepest sympathy and may you take some small comfort in knowing she was loved by so many. My prayers for strength during this awful time.
Allison will be deeply missed. I will always cherish our friendship and will always remember her beautiful
Smile! When I think of her I can see her smiling , her smile could light up a room. The picture chosen perfectly displays Allison’s personality and couldn’t make me more proud to call her a great friend. I was blessed to meet Allison when our boys started kindergarten and attended not only school together but daycare as well. Our family hung our together with a small group and most often Allison was the one that arranged the outings. My heart breaks thinking of her family and the pain they are feeling. Big hugs to the Carroll and Smith family! My heart is truly broken. 💔 I love you Allison.

To the Smith and Carroll family, our deepest condolences from Sharon, Bill and Nick. We first met Allison at Good Shepherd Church when we would both take Evan and Nick to the toddler room. What a blessing it was to learn that Evan and Nick were in the same daycare and that brought us together for almost 16 years. Her spirit, willingness to help, positive outlook and joyous smile was inspiring. Just like our boys are the “OGs”, you will forever be our OG. Miss and love you.
Sending prayers to you Maureen and the rest of the family. May you find peace in the assurance that Allison is in the arms of God. May your memories bring you comfort. The last time I saw Allison I was 13 and that would have made her 7. I have pictures of those days and fond memories I keep tucked in my heart.
I am so sorry for this tragic loss.
Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel
Maureen I just can’t tell you how heartbroken Jackie and I are. We can’t get you off of our minds. I just want you to know that we have been thinking about you and your family since we heard this devastating news. I never met Allison but over the years running into you in PG County I heard you mention her so many times. I wish I could take the pain away. I just cannot imagine. Sending our love your way. 😢
Allison was the strongest, most resilient, breath of pure sunshine I’ve ever known. I’m thankful to know her and her sister, Becky, and appreciate the inspiration she has brought to my life. I’m so thankful to have known her and pray daily for her, her children, and her family. Thank you for the love and inspiration you gave us all, Allison! How you have touched my life… I will never forget you… I will try and carry on your light, joy, your strength, and, most importantly, your joy of life ❤️
Our deepest sympathy and love to Mom, Becky, Jen , Craig, Mykala, Evan, Kyle , Colton, Alyssa,
and the rest of the Carroll and Smith Clemens and extended family and friends. Finding it very hard to process this news. I met Allison in 5th grade and that began a life long friendship. When I was pregnant with my oldest daughter her mom, Allison, Becky and Jen planned a baby shower for me. When Nicole was baptized I asked Allison to be her godmother. I also remember when she planned a reunion at her house for Laurie me and her years after high school. Allison was such a warm, beautiful person. She brought joy to people’s life wherever she went. My heart goes out to her whole family. So many cherished memories. Will always love and miss you,
Love

My deepest condolences to Maureen. I did not know Allison, but
my mother, Brenda DiMarco, just informed me of your loss. As painful and as tough as it has been to lose my father recently, I can only imagine the depths of the pain that the loss of your child has brought to you. I only hope you are able to find solace in her memory. To find peace in her memory is what I can only imagine
that she would want- and for you to be able to continue on. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
My deepest condolences to Allison’s family. This is heartbreaking and I can’t imagine how you feel. Allision was always a breath of fresh air. Her love of baseball and her kids was always the topic of conversation. All my memories of her involve smiling and laughing. My deepest sympathy to her family. Allision will be loved and missed always.

I was blessed to know Allison through our time together at Workday. Simply an amazing person, so full of life, love and concern for others. Those doesn’t always come across in professional settings, but with Allison those were the main things, and especially her love for her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May His peace & strength be with each of you.
Mykala, Evan, Maureen and Family,
My sincerest sympathies ~ Allison held a very special place in my heart. We met each other through our daughters, Mykala and Kerianne – over 15 years ago and immediately, and a friendship blossomed between us. She was like a 2nd mom to Kerianne and that has always touched my heart so much. She was always so warm and welcoming; her smile and positive energy were radiant. Some time would pass before we chatted again, but we always picked up where we left off – as if no time had passed at all. Conversation was always so easy and genuine. Sweet Allison ~ you deeply touched my heart and soul each and every time we were together or chatted on the phone. I’m so thankful for your friendship and love. May we all carry on your beautiful charisma and charm. I’ve always found music to be a healing energy. This song by Kenny Chesney will always remind me of you –
“Your spirit will live here forever, The sea will echo your gypsy soul, You will always bring us together, this much I know.
Oh, your smile was as big as this island, You could drown in your eyes of blue, You were friend of a friend and someone, I’m glad I knew. I’ll always see you dancing, up there on the bow, Living life in the moment, happy on the hey now.
And you’ll live with us as long as, memories stay alive, And you left us with so many, Kristi…
I hope time can be our healer, maybe time can be a friend, Still I’m a strong believer, someday we’ll see you again.
Where the sun is on our faces and the wind is at our back, Sailing south to our favorite places, where the water’s calm and flat. ‘Til then we’ll always see you dancing, up there on the bow, Living life in the moment, happy on the hey now,
And you’ll live with us as long as, memories stay alive. And you left us with so many, Kristi…
Our circle of friends, we’re sad that you’re gone, We celebrate your life with stories and a song. Somehow you will keep us strong. And we’ll always see you dancing, up there on the bow, Living life in the moment, happy on the hey now
And you’ll live with us as long as, memories stay alive, And you left us with so many, Kristi…”
~ Hugs and love to each of you.
Maureen, Our deepest condolences to you, Mykala, Evan, Rebecca, Jennifer and all that knew and loved Allison. She certainly was a shining light as demonstrated in this beautiful photo of her. Allison will be remembered for all she did and her legacy will continue. Our prayers go out to you and your family.

Allison’s laugh, smile and energy always brought happiness and made even strangers dance and sing. She also made the best Paella I’ve ever had.
Maureen, Rebecca, Jen, Mykala and Evan I am so heartbroken for your loss and we are praying for all of you.
With love,
Jon, Addison and Carson
I just met Allison few weeks ago as we were considering Workday and she was so helpful in bringing all Workday resources to the table to help me and my company going out of the way to help. I am so sorry and shocked. I am keeping Allison and her family in my prayers.
