Dennis Markey Jordan, 72 of Solomons, MD, passed away peacefully at his residence at Asbury Solomons on March 21, 2022.  A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and Mount St. Mary’s College, Markey was employed by the Horace Mann Insurance Company in Southern Maryland for over 30 years.  The family wishes to express its gratitude to his manager, Clare “Niki” Baker and caregivers Mary Harris, Woodrow Wallace, Janis Foote, Angel Gray, Dee Johnson, Tasha Titus and Rose Gray.  Markey was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Frances Jordan and his brother, Michael Jordan.  He is survived by his brothers, Joseph “Pat” Jordan and Brian (Kim) Jordan, and his sister, Angela (Brian) McCarthy and their families.

Family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Rausch Funeral Home, 20 American Lane, Lusby, MD.
