January 6 – Obituary: Elmer Paul Hall, Jr.
Hall Family,
Mr. Hall was the first Local 602 Foreman that I worked for in 1989 @ Western Branch Water Treatment Plant when I was a helper for WM Schlosser Co. . I was just 21 years old and working on my first construction job. He was always willing to share his knowledge of Steamfitting even when my questions were way off base. We would talk about sports, currrent events and even politics (although @ 21 I could’ve cared less about politics-LOL) He could tell a good story, crack a joke, and make me laugh. I worked for him maybe 6 months before I transferred to another project. I ran into him maybe 15 years ago at a Union Meeting and he still remembered me. I know I will always remember him. RIP Mr. Hall.
Respectfully,
Mike Dean
