Dorothy Louise “Susie” Tyler, 83, of Casa Grande, AZ and formerly of Deale, MD passed away November 28, 2021. She was born October 5, 1938 in Washington, DC to William J. and Doshie May (Combs) Ellis. Susie married Henry Tyler on November 26, 1955 and they lived in DC and Southern Anne Arundel County before moving to Casa Grande, AZ, where Susie has lived for the last 30 years. She was employed as an office manager in Clinton for many years. Susie also owned and operated Susie Ceramics in Deale, where she taught ceramic classes. In her spare time Susie enjoyed going to drag races with her husband, arts and crafts, and ceramics.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband Henry Preston Tyler. She is survived by her daughters Carol Atkins of Deale and Donna Donaldson and her husband Michael of Tracy’s Landing, grandchildren Margaret and Michael and numerous great-grandchildren.

A reception will follow the interment at 632 Deale Road, Deale, MD 20751 and all are welcome to attend.
