It with great sadness that I send my condolences to the Pelletier family. When I was President of the 206 American Legion Auxiliary, Roland was the bacon chef. He did a great job and would be at the legion waiting for me to open up. For his help, I am forever grateful. He was always nice and pleasant to me. Rest In Peace my friend.

My condolences to the entire Pelletier family. My favorite memory was Roland asking me “how are you a cowboy fan”. I remarked back because the Redskins suck! I can still see his smile,,

Roland was a great friend, we shared a lot of fun times growing up in Clinton, early memories were shooting pool in his basement, four wheeling in his sister’s jeep at 3 am (Young’s Inn) seeing him flying down thrift Rd on his dirt bike with sirens blaring and drinking buds around the bomb fires on the park path. I will truly miss my longtime friend. Love you RoRo!

I will miss seeing and talking to Roland, Jr. he was always pleasant. I enjoyed when he would decide to cook at Roland’s. You never knew what he would be cooking. However, always good. He could clean the floors at the American Legion and the store for a while. You never had to ask at the Legion who cleaned them, because no one did it like he did. They would shine. I enjoyed making banana bread for him. For X-mas day I delivered whiskey cake, and banana bread to three people. Roland definitely was one of them. I would give him the devil when he needed it and compliment him when he was doing good. He often times called me momma. He truly did love his animals. Posted pictures all the time of them. He truly will be missed. The house up on the hill won’t be the same when you ride by it now. Roland, you are now with your momma, who you loved very much. Rest in peace (my friend). I know God welcomed you into his magic kingdom with open arms. Keep looking down on us. When tears come from heaven, I will think about you. God bless the Pelletier family during this trying time.
