June 22 – Obituary: Matthew Thomas Sullivan
Sully, you were and still are a brother to me. Our time together in life was by far the most meaningful experience I’ve ever had. We used to refer to ourselves not as friends, but as “life partners. We intended to go through every step of life together. Our lives together were not perfect, but we did our best in everything we did. Everything I’ve had in life is meaningless relative to the sound of your laughter, to the memories of our times together, and the dreams of our future lives. Everyday since you’ve passed I have tried to live for you, for us. You are still here with me, walking every step together, just like we used to and always will.
I love you, man. Hope there’s Brisk tea up there.

I’m going to miss you Sully. You started out as my best friend in biology in 10th grade and remained friends ever since. Every time we crossed paths there was so much laughter and memories I will always cherish. He was always soft spoken but had the best response to anything. I have never known anyone quite like him. I’m very sorry for his families loss. You gave us such an amazing person.

My deepest condolences to Scott, Michele, Adam, and the entire family. I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot possibly express my sincerest Sympathy.
I will always keep fond memories of watching Matthew grow up. His adorable red hair, sweet smile, and when he was 5, the realization that he was not going to run wild and get away with it! And we both share the same birthday born on the cusp, being a Leo foremost with a slight hint of Virgo. I’ll never forget our kids growing up together and none of them ‘really’ talking or hanging out because it wasn’t the cool thing to do (I think they were so exhausted and sleep deprived from catching the bus so early). Seeing Matthew play basketball for hours on end with his family always brought joy to my heart.
May God bring comfort to you and your family. And, may Matthew soar with the angels high in the Heavens.
