October 12 – Obituary: Glenn Michael Michaud

Glenn was a larger-than-life person and a fun-loving uncle! I have fond memories of him from my childhood. I loved summer BBQs at his house, full of the sounds of family, dogs, laughter, and always music. Once I started playing the piano, we would sometimes attempt a duet around the holidays, with him on guitar or singing, though he was far more skilled than I was and usually a note ahead! One of my favorite memories is a Christmas home from college when he picked up my small Spanish guitar and started strumming and singing away, filling the house with classic rock ’n’ roll and entertaining everyone. He had a distinct voice, slightly raspy but also clear and booming, that was unmistakable and matched his stature. At family gatherings he would often joke, ‘How did we all get so good-looking?!’ with a smile toward his mom, which always made her laugh. Wishing Glenn peace and more music on the other side.
