Jane Marie Robey

Jane Marie Robey, 79, of Chesapeake Beach passed away September 6, 2026. She was born August 17, 1947 in Hurt, VA to Daniel and Ada (Dalton) Gregory.  Jane was born in Virginia and later moved with her family to Indian Head, MD and SE Washington, D.C. She attended high school in Roanoke, VA. She married Larry Lee Robey, Sr. in 1970 and they moved to Chesapeake Beach in 1976. Jane was employed as a bookkeeper for Stinnett’s Restaurant in Chesapeake Beach from 1979 to 1993, and other local establishments until her retirement. Jane enjoyed playing slot machines, World Tavern poker, BINGO, and most of all spending time with her family.

Jane is survived by children Danny Smith, Larry Robey, Jr., and Wendy Robey, grandchildren Lacy Keller (Joey), Michael Smith (Tori), Jeff Grierson (Carrie), Eric Smith, Lindsay Kreuter (Butch), Josh Hammaker, Megan Gulloti (Cameron), Lailah Robey and Mark Robey, six great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons, brother Jerry Gregory (Mary), sister Debbie Hutchinson (Robbie) and son-in-law Eddie Grierson. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, Sr., daughters Carol Grierson and Donna Robey, and brothers Bobby, Mike and Doug.
