January 31 – Obituary: Mason Ronald Cullember

Mason was one of those people that just grows on you. Starting as my new neighbor almost 10 years ago, I can honestly say he was a great friend at the end of the day.

One of my favorite memories with Mason was being able to relive some of my childhood shows through him. He would come over and tell me all about specific episodes from shows like SpongeBob and how much he enjoyed them. Two of my favorite shows was Drake  and Josh and ICarly, so when Mason got a chance to meet crazy Steve/Spencer in real life he had the actor dedicate his signing to me. Just one of his many kind acts.

I am glad to have known Mason and wish his family the best.

January 31 – Obituary: Mason Ronald Cullember

We remember it was Kat’s last day before leaving for college and Mason had come over to have a movie party and s’mores as a kind of going-away party. We laughed and talked about movies that we all loved, and watched one of Mason’s favorites, Wonka. Mason had such kindness in his heart and an unwavering positivity that brought light and joy into the room. Kat was so grateful that night to have such a caring friend who was able to make the last night of summer such a fun and memorable experience; we will never forget that. We will always remember Mason as someone who was brave, generous, and had an incredible passion for trying new things.

When I heard the news of your passing, my eyes just watered…. you were one of my favorite coworkers at PaPa John’s, GREAT personality, nice to work with for 4 years, my movie buddy, we used to talk about all our weird stuff lol. I just posted all of your northern lights pictures you sent me. Rest In Paradise Mason . Will definitely miss hearing you say “hey Ros”  you when I stop by.

January 30 – Obituary: Mason Ronald Cullember

Mason and I worked together for the last two and half years. We didn’t click at first because of our big age gap but mason really had a way with people.  I quickly found myself excited for every time we would close together, and get to talk movies and share dinner. Mason helped me with rides home for months until I was able to get a car. He was there celebrating with me when my son was born. We have argued, cried, and hugged it out together. It was such a treasure to grow and learn with him. I know I will never have a better employee or a better friend.  Love you Mace and I just want one more high flying high five buddy

January 28 – Obituary: Mason Ronald Cullember

My memories of Mason are from when he was a little boy. Him and Logan down in Myrtle Beach with family. I  know his grandfather and great grandmother are there to accept him in heaven. My heart goes out to Beth, Ron and Logan. And his loving grandparents. RIP
