My deepest condolences to the St.John family. I met Guy many years ago when I moved to Chesapeake Beach from Australia. My Newton family introduced me to Guy when he was working at the Sunoco gas station. As he filled up my car he told me that I talked funny and said I had an accent. I told him that he had an accent too, he said “No I don’t”.
I said, “ Well you don’t talk like me Mate, so you do!” Anyway, through the years it was always a nice experience to see Guy.” RIP, I pray that the Angels wrap their arms around you and hold you tight forever. May God watch over your entire family during this difficult time.
My deepest sympathy to Guy’s family he was one very nice guy. I grew up and Chesapeake Beach and got to know him. He was always kind and always had that beautiful smile. It has been year’s since I have seen him . Sending all of his family thoughts and prayer’s at this most difficult time. With deepest sympathy Darlene Ruzicka Reumont
Condolences to the entire St. John family. I met Guy through Amber recommending him for painting. Over the years he completed many projects at my home. I got to know him and trusted him completely. He was always so kind to my children, me and my two big dogs. He left the place better than he found it. I always enjoyed talking to him about his family, hobbies and politics. He was a good soul and always smiling. He will be missed and not forgotten!
Our Prayers and Condolences to all. Guy was a long time friend and great person, he was always smiling and joking around. We remember the night that we rode our motorcycles up to the campsite in West Virginia, it was cold and foggy and you could barely see in front of you, but Guy and Cheryl got us there safe! RIP my friend until we meet again.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Cheryl, Lee always loved Guy as a brother and working at the plant with him. Sending you our deepest condolences. I remember Guy when I was in my 20s me and Chuckie(Gott) used to go riding together, he was always so happy and funny, what a great sense of humor.
Guy was one who would always bring a smile to your face. I have known him since we were kids growing up in the Beach. He will be missed by many. To Guy’s family, there are no words to give you comfort; but take solace in knowing his friends share in your sorrow.
I loved Guy from the very first time I met him, which was in 1973 at our store in Sherando, VA; Chalet du John. He had come down with the Tribes, leaning on crutches with a broken leg,
What impressed me most and for the rest of my life was his absolutely beautiful smile and positive soul. He showed no ill-will nor malice toward anyone. He showed his inner beauty in a way that most people will never experience. Even my children saw/felt that quality. My youngest son, J, packed his little lunch box with a pair of pants to go home with Guy and Teresa on one of their visits! Children KNOW good!
I consider myself most fortuitous to have met and known such a bright and shining light in the form of Guy St. John.
You are missed by many, my friend. God bless you and your beautiful family.
