David Paul Terrell
February 17, 1952 – November 28, 2024
David Paul Terrell, 72, of Huntingtown, Maryland passed away on November 28, 2024. David worked for Southern Maryland Oil for 33 years as a delivery truck driver. David enjoyed his customers and would spend extra time with the older customers to talk about the “old days” and the “old ways”. David branched out after he retired and joined the Rausch Funeral Home as an Assistant for 20 years. David loved to hunt and loved his gun collection. He worked hard to keep the grass cut a certain way. If there was time left, he enjoyed the car races at Budds Creek.
David leaves behind his wife, Marianne Reichel of 42 years, his brother-in-law, Karl Reichel, 2 sons Chris and Rick, 2 grandsons, Donnie and Aaron. David also leaves behind his friends at 7-11. He enjoyed a good laugh and jokes with this group of men. The Stinnett Garage men were his next stop to enjoy more man-talk and laughter as he worked his way back home each morning.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Stoll, his special grandmother, Katie Brightwell, his brother Charlie and his dogs, Wishbone and JoJo.
The family wishes to thank the Calvert County Sheriff’s Department and all Calvert County First Responders who offered aide to David.
The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, Maryland on Thursday December 12, 2024 from 4-6 PM. Services will be private. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
