My dear cousin, a giant in the crowd, who could not love him, the gift of gab, ageless to all, a great communicator. His driving spirit and love of family encouraged we cousins to gather together in blissful harmony. Gary, with the piercing blue eyes, you will be remembered for many things but for me, especially the gifts of love and respect you have given to our family. Rest in peace dear one.

Terri and family, I am so sorry to hear the news of Gary’s passing. I will always be grateful that I had the opportunity to work for Gary for 7 years at CCNPP. He was a good man and his fun personality was contagious.
You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Terri and family,
What a wonderful gift it is to have known your wonderful husband and dad! Gary made the world a better and happier place with his many talents and it’s such a loss to all who knew and loved him.
Steven, Donna and Jerry
I am so sorry for your loss. Gary had such a great sense of humor. I can remember the clock that he had in his office at Calvert Cliffs – which was either numbered backwards or ran backwards. His laugh was truly infectious. He was such a great person and manager.
Terri and family. We are sorry for your loss. I worked with Gary for 30 years, coached basketball with him at OLSS, went on several cruises with him, and had many breakfasts with him. We will always remember his humor and critical discussions. Our prayers are with you and the family. Jim and Gerry Snyder
Pavis Family,
We will forever be grateful for Gary’s willingness to jump in as needed and dedication to OLSS and SMYBL. On and off the basketball court he was a shining example of Christian values and love. His smile and firm hand shakes were always so welcoming. Gary had such a professional respectful presence. Knowing he was behind us gave us strength and encouragement in the bb league. May his family feel that same strength and encouragement during this difficult time. Gary was a good man. He will be missed. Thank you Terry and Pavis family for supporting his passion as he volunteered so many hours to lessen the burden for others. We appreciate each of you as well as Gary. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Gladys Nehf-OLSS-SMYBL
My sincere condolences to the Pavis family. Gary was certainly an unforgettable man. Always positive and upbeat professional no matter the situation. Proud to have been a colleague and friend. May GOD Bless Gary and the Pavis family.
My sincere condolences to Terry and family. The family, community and CCNPP family has truly lost a “great guy.”
Having met and befriended Pavis in the 80’s, he could always give me something to laugh at. We worked a lot of long hours but they were never dull. He kept us all entertained, always with a story to share or a Groucho impersonation. Having known him for all these years, was a blessing. Gary was devoted to his family and his community and “good Ole Ma Gas” with a strong work ethic. He truly earned his angel wings!
Condolences to Gary’s family and friends. Gary was always telling stories, and joking no matter where he was, or the activity taking place. I first met Gary when he worked in Baltimore, and was glad to see that he moved to Calvert County when he join us at CCNPP. Then we even got together at Nine Mile Point. Gary was the life of the party, and a friend to everyone wherever he went. Gary will be missed at our CCNPP Retiree Luncheons.
I am very sorry for your loss. Gary was respected by a lot of students at the tutoring center. I knew him since last summer, and he always had a smile on his face. He was very cheerful with a great attitude. He cared deeply for the students’ learning, helping them to succeed in school. He will be missed!
Heartfelt sympathies to Terri and family for your loss. I first met Gary at Nine Mile Point in the early 2000’s, and later in Baltimore and Calvert Cliffs, and we quickly bonded over the Orioles as well as support of the nuclear stations. I will always smile in remembering the many great conversations we had over the years, and I am grateful to have known him.

My uncle was a shining example of family values, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who brought endless joy to those around him with his dry wit and fondness for the Three Stooges.
