To the family of John,
Our hearts are broken at the loss of your dad. I can’t even count the number of years we have been friends. I believe it was when they moved to Calvert County in Huntingtown. For so many years we went out to lunch with your mom and dad after church services and our daughter Terri was about the same age as Kathy and Kelly. Then for some number of years we all played Hand, Knee, and Foot with John at HUMC, He was such a wonderful person and we loved hearing some of his stories. I visited him and your mom at the Hermitage several times and he was always so glad to see us. We will truly miss your dad.
With Deepest Condolences,

I first met John in 1968 where we both worked for the Association of American Railroads. John and I remained colleauges until his retirement. We shared many lunches and worked through several work issues and had dinner with Mary and John. Although I never met the Kathy and Kelly, thanks to John, my three girls used their bed rails keep them safely tucked in bed.
Sending prayers and condolences to the family.
John and I began our careers at the AAR about the same time and while not working directly together, we always were in close contact. He was an excellent representative for our organization and a wonderful co-worker. God bless him and keep him at his side. Rest in peace my friend.
