Marcia Lorraine Evans Miklovic
December 10, 1955 – January 24, 2024
Marcia Lorraine Evans Miklovic, 68, of Prince Frederick passed away January 24, 2024 at home with family by her side. She was born December 10, 1955 in Asheville, NC to William and Shirley (Renfro) Evans. Marcia moved to Forestville as a young child and later graduated from Suitland High School. She worked as an office manager at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant for many years. She married Ronald Miklovic on December 31, 1994. Marcia was an active member of Huntingtown United Methodist Church where she enjoyed going on mission trips with her good friend Dan Yoder. She was also instrumental in organizing a dinner for people who couldn’t leave their homes. Marcia enjoyed going to sporting events, car shows, watching hockey, and traveling.
Marcia is survived by her loving husband Ronald Miklovic, children Toby Constatino of North East, MD, Michelle Carlson of Ocala, FL, Carolyn Jayne of North Carolina, Tim Miklovic of Odenton, and Angela King of Wake Forest, NC, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, mother Shirley Evans, brother Tim Evans, sister Renee Evans, nieces Brandi Garcia, Deanna Eller, Carly Gentry, and Brianna Evans, and her longtime caregiver Mac. She was preceded in death by her son Paul Miklovic, father William Evans, and sister Debbie Evans White.

Ron, Toby, and family. I will definitely miss Marcia! We’ve been friends for such a long time that it is difficult to think of the world without her. Every time I get a haircut or watch a hockey game, I will think of her. I will always have so many memories of her stories of the summer missions, as well as our own adventures together. You are all in my heart as you go through this transition in life.
I will miss you!! Sharing my Eulogy I ready today for everyone else to read and see how amazing you are!
Marcia’s words to live by:
1. Believe in God but remember believing isn’t enough. Be an amazing Christian by walking with the Lord everyday of your life. Listen to Bluegrass Gospel on Sundays! Lean on Jesus and the Holy Spirit for guidance, love and support. Ask for their presence on your most glorious days and at your darkest times.
2. Serve your church and community with Love and Grace. Be sure to always smile even if your body is exhausted and your hands are sore from rebuilding homes for others in the hills of the Appalachian mountains. Humanity depends on these acts of kindness and the love we show for one another.
3. Just Do it! Try something new, learn something useful, Join the team, be part of the group or spear head a new one. Don’t be afraid to come out of your comfort zone and have a little fun. Remember: Nooooo regrets!!
4. Work Hard by giving the best of what you have to offer. Travel, Sing and Dance. Fly to Vegas to have dinner At the Top of the World, Swim in the beautiful waters of Anguilla with the Love of your life, go boating in Florida and ride an ATV through the Appalachian Mountains. And after all this, have a few cocktails; while Singing and Dancing with Mariachis in Mexico. Most Important: REMEMBER! It’s okay to Yell Louder than all the other Hockey Mom’s.
5. Love your family with all of your heart and soul. Take pictures, show up, celebrate, accept things won’t always go as planned and that’s okay. New and different things will come and you will grow to love everything life and the Lord has given you.
6. Be an amazing Mother, Wife, Bonus Mom, Daughter In Law, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Friend, Mother In-Law & Sister-In Law. The Children and all the littles are watching you. Be the example they will always remember and one day strive to be like. (Just like this girl here)
7. Last but not least, if one day you receive the news that you are not well, You Do Not Give Up! You fight to live everyday like there is no tomorrow. You go directly back to number one and start again. You continue to live. You Thank God everyday you wake up and for each day you have with the most amazing husband anyone could ask for.
You SMILE, tell everyone you love them and you fight until your very last breath.
As you leave here today be sure to Thank God for your life. Know that I am in heaven smelling the flowers, watching the hummingbirds, singing, dancing and playing my guitar with my Daddy and Sister Debbie all while watching over all of you.
Thank you Ron for the best 29 years of marriage. Our lives were so full and the love deep.
Mac: I don’t need to tell you how much you mean to me as you already know. Thank you for coming into our lives and I know you will be with my Ronnie just as you were with me.

Lastly, a few words to you, my Aunt Marcia, From me, your Brandi Lea. I thank you for all of your love and wisdom. I thank you for showing up, taking the pictures, And Mostly for being that example in my life that helped shape me into the woman I am today and the woman I continue to strive to be.

Marcia was a member of THE esteemed class of ’73 at Suitland Senior High School in Suitland, MD. The news of her passing was shared among the class this afternoon. Too soon gone but never forgotten. Prayers for the family.

I am beyond sorry to hear of Marcia’s passing. Marcia and I were practically joined at the hip in high school. I am stunned. My heart goes out to her family.
