Dear Ronnie and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of JRs passing. We enjoyed many events at the hospital with both of you. His contributions to the community will be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of JR. He was a great man who did so much for the community. I knew of JR through my father Harry Zinn who worked with him at Calvert Bank. So many memories of those times with JR, Mr. Leonard, Cathy, Judy and my dad. What a great bunch they were! Ronnie, I will be thinking of you and sending you many prayers.
JR was the best person I ever worked for. I was JR’s Executive Secretary (1972 – 1976) when he was the Vice President in charge of the Loan Department at The Garrett National Bank in Oakland. JR always treated me with respect regarding the various duties that I took care of as he carried out the responsibilities of his position. He had a good sense of humor which complimented his overall personality. Many of my GNB coworkers have expressed the same sentiments as we have often reminisced about the “good old days” working with JR. My prayers are with Ronnie and family for comfort and peace. May wonderful memories keep JR alive in your hearts!
Ronnie–my prayers and thoughts with you. I always loved working with you and talking with JR—he was one of my most beloved patients I cared for and with always be remembered. He did so much for this community and will be missed. Jan
Mrs. Kahl,
I did not know Mr. Kahl, well. As neighbors, we were wave and nod mostly. But he was so kind to my sons whenever they encountered him. My oldest at one point told me that “Mr. JR and I talked today mom, he is so NICE. And he had warm hands.” And at that point in time, when my son said someone had warm hands, he meant that shaking hands with that person made him feel good. I know Mr. Kahl will be missed.
Ronnie and family,
Sorry to hear of JR’s passing. What a wonderful person and husband he was. He will be missed by so many in our community. May memories of him be passed on to generations to follow to keep his light burning. Peace.
Ronnie and family,
I’m saddened to hear of the passing of JR. I will always treasure the time I worked with him at Calvert County bank, his mentorship and kindness towards me while my father was dying from cancer. May you find comfort and peace in your memories of him.
