He was born and raised in Calvert County. He was a humble man but very proud to be a husband, father, and grandfather. In his younger years he loved working on the farm and taking care of his family. He was most proud be called Pop-Pop. He loved when the grandchildren would come to visit.
He worked many jobs in his lifetime from the farm to driving dump trucks and heavy machinery to working with the Calvert County Government for 20 years. His most enjoyable time working was for Parks & Rec. He made many friends there. He always had a story to tell that would make you laugh.
After retirement he enjoyed working in his garden and sharing all his Veggies with the neighbors. In return they always made him special treats. He would sit outside and talk to everyone that came by.
He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

My prayers and condolences to family and friends. We became neighbors and friends in our little neighborhood so many years ago . We gathered under the maple tree when weather permitted and on our porch. It has been an honor and blessing to call him our friend.
