I was so saddened to hear that you have left from here. I know we hadn’t seen each other in a long while, but I have always loved you and your heartfelt spirit. Rest in peace sweet woman — you will be missed dearly. I am happy though that you had your family vacation before you departed, and no doubt, you are too. Sending love and hugs to all your beautiful children, grands, and everyone who will miss you. Love always!
In life, you get just a handful of friends. I had ONE constant in my life, that was Nancy.
For over 40 years, I consider myself blessed.
Nancy was kinda quirky and odd, and I fell in love with her instantly I loved it that she was dedicated to her kids and family. I envied her.
She always made me laugh out loud. (can you hear her laughter? I can.
“Sing Me a Song” was a normal thing I’d ask her. Sometimes, she’d comply! (and we all know what a lovely melodious voice she had- hahaha)
I am torn between the fact that she is gone to the Angels and leaving us on earth.
In the past few weeks, when learning about her illness- I’ve laughed and cried spontaneously, I’m sad to lose my best friend but also blessed that I had her in my life.
There were so many fun filled days, and I wouldn’t trade her friendship for all the money in the world.
The last conversation I had with her about a month ago, she said these exact words to me. ” Cindy, I’m not afraid of dying. I have had the best life anyone could ever have. I love my family, and all my kids mean everyting to me. Ive had the best friends ever, and I am okay with this.
I finally got to see her last week.
Nancy wasn’t just a friend; she was my family. Like a sister.
She was an adventure, a spontaneous spark of life that took you to places you never thought you’d go.
And her laugh is etched in my brain forever (as well as that song, which she was always off key. But I was always off key too- and that made us laugh even harder.
OHHH Nancy. I’m going to love you until the day I can see you again. I hope you are hugging Larry right now!
Thank you for a lifetime of friendship. I love you.
So much. So, so much. Thank you for being my friend.
To the family of Nancy Lenhart floral designer extraordinaire.
Nancy’s friendship over the past 4+ years has been a gift to me. We had some wonderful times working together. Her smile and humor will be missed deeply.
Grief is at times overwhelming and catatonic as you already know.
For you and your family the sadness will completely numb your spirit and your soul. They say, “time heals all wounds” not true. In my experience, time just allows us to learn how to live with the pain as we continue our own journey through this life. The love and your faith that you shared with your Mom will sustain you through this time. Cherish all your wonderful memories of your wonderful fun-loving Mother. They will always be a source of strength and comfort to You.
Remember the laughter and good times these memories are for you to cherish forever.
Allow all your fantastic memories of all the special times together, to replace the emptiness and that numb feeling you have in your gut.
Allow the love you shared with her to push away those negative and sad feelings. I can only imagine all the joy that you and your children brought to her life over the years.
I pray that God’s angels comfort and help you over the next few months as you travel through this grief journey.
Nancy’s spirit, love and laughter will always be with you and your family.
In time, you can rejoice in knowing that he is at peace and in the arms of our loving heavenly father.
Hugs, Prayers, Love, Grace & Blessings to You all.
Always-
Paul

Praying for comfort and peace for Nancy’s family and friends.
Working with Nancy was a pleasure. she was always happy, sweet and had a beautiful smile. It was clear to see that she loved her family, working with flowers, and life. She always was ready to help the customers and make people smile in the floral shop at Safeway. One of our conversations I’ve been thinking about, we talked about her love for gardening, flowers and how she would love to have another beautiful garden at her home like she had at her last home. Well Nancy, know you do! I know you are in the loving Arms of Jesus in Heaven with the biggest most beautiful garden there is. We talked many times about Jesus and her love for him, and she was ready to meet Him. It’s hard for us on earth, we long for and miss the people we love so dearly, but I can have peace knowing I will see Nancy again one day in Heaven.
John 6:40

and I will raise them up at the last day.”
John 3:16

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
