James Everett Patterson, Jr.
February 23, 1967 – June 17, 2023
James “Jim” Everett Patterson, Jr., 56, of Prince Frederick passed away on June 17, 2023. He was born on February 23, 1967 in Washington, D.C. to Ethel “Lynne” (Clarke) and James Everett Patterson, Sr.
He grew up in P.G. County, and settled in Calvert County, where he married Tina Childress on April 14, 2021. He was a roofer by trade, but did many other contracting jobs, a jack of all trades of the sort. He loved boating, working on his cars, attending car shows, going to the track, watching movies and lots of sports (football, basketball, and boxing), and enjoyed playing basketball, shooting pool, and playing blackjack at the casinos. But most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends, and hanging with “Jax” (his Rottweiler).
Jim is survived by his wife Tina Louise Patterson; his children James Patterson, III, Ryan Patterson, Jordan Patterson, Amaya Patterson, Brett Patterson, Mariah Belt, and Nicollette Royer; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way; his brothers Stephen and Joseph Patterson, his sister Michelle Patterson Prieto; and his mother Ethel “Lynne” Patterson. Jim was preceded in death by his father, James E. Patterson, Sr.

Sympathy and condolences to kith and kin. Losing a friend is tough and losing family is even tougher. Men of his caliber are getting more rare with time which makes the loss harder. May the grace of GOD be with all as they mourn their loss.
