Raymond “Chip” Hoyle, Jr.
February 22, 1963 – May 14, 2023
Raymond “Chip” (Super Chip) Hoyle, 60, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away unexpectantly in his sleep on May 14, 2023, in his home. He was born on February 22, 1963, in Washington D.C. to Raymond Hoyle Sr. and Anna Schellin. He graduated from Southern High School in Anne Arundel County.
Anyone who knew Chip knew he had a passion for his work as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. He enjoyed going to job sites and diagnosing problems instead of just replacing parts. He thrived on the “Impossible” problems. That is how he got his nick name “Super Chip”. Chip worked for many companies but enjoyed working for himself the most. Chip was also a very generous person and would give his last dollar to help anyone out.
Chip will be missed by a lot of people that he has helped out but more so by his family. Chip leaves behind his wife Lynn, children: Ashley (Bryon) Gibbs, Ryan Hoyle, Travis Hoyle, Kyrstin Anderson, Stepchildren: Brent “Taylor” (Allison) Lecky Jr and Zachery Lecky. His Grandchildren: Conner Hammaker, Jason Gibbs, Hudson Hoyle, Hazel Clements and Delilah Gibbs. Sisters: Linda Pennifill, Betty Jean Nolan, Susan Crowe, Patricia Smith and Nancy Cory. Also leaves behind nieces, nephews and countless friends.
All are welcome to celebrate his life. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 23,2023 at 10-11 AM at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at 105 Vianney Ln, Prince Frederick, MD 20678.
