You were a good woman and a wonderful friend to many as well as a truly caring Mom and Grandmom. I hadn’t seen you in a few years but I remember your strength and your sense of humor. Rest peacefully my friend. God Bless you and your loved ones.&

My thoughts and prayers to her family, she will be so missed, I am so glad we kept in touch after my brother passed away. We have had alot of long phone conversations that I enjoyed very much, and will miss, she always made me laugh, and we never had dead air, we talked and talked! Rest in peace Joyce, no more suffering, Love you ❤️
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, “Come to me”.
You didn’t deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best . You went to sleep
So peaceful and free from pain
we could not wish you back
To suffer that again.
I know your in God’s arms safe and sound and now have so many loved ones around, that have gone on before you.
Joyce just know you will be truly missed by so many and most of All you were so loved by All.
Joyce Ann and I both grew up on a farm, started school the same year at Broomes Island Elementary and became friends, rode on the same school bus from elementary through high school, driven first by Mrs. Horsmon, then Mr. Horsmon, went to Sunday school together, both had fathers who went by their middle name, Leroy, both fathers had a black ’51 chevrolet when we were little. So much in common but we eventually grew apart when we both married.
The first thing you saw when meeting Joyce Ann was that smile and little giggle. She was always friendly, kind and helpful. She was a loving person and I will miss her even though I haven’t seen her for years.
I pray for strength and peace for her family. She now is out of suffering and happy and at peace in the presence of her Lord and family members; parents, husband and son. May her memory be a blessing to you.

Lifting Joyce’s family up in prayer. May God’s love surround you and give you peace. Sadly, I never got to know Joyce; but I know many of you and know that she was special to you and that she will be missed. Pastor Ruth
