Dear Kelly, Holly, and Dawn and your families,
It is with deepest sorrow for your loss that we offer our sympathies. We loved Barbara. She was such a wonderful person, nurse colleague in parish nursing, and a friend to us and my mother, Pat Monnett. Your loss is our loss too. We know how the grief began long before her death, with the dying of her mind. Our prayers and love are with you all.
Peace, Marcia and Marijo Cosmas-Monnett
To Barbara’s family,
We pray for the days, weeks, and months ahead of you. Barbara was a good and kind soul with a lovely sense of wit. Full of Grace, she was always at Bible study with a smile and a kind word. She will be missed on this earth. You were so lucky to call her yours, I’m blessed to have called her friend.
I’m very sorry to learn of Barbara’s death. Barbara, Donnie and I all went to Calvert High together. Donnie later went to Charlotte Hall Military Academy. Even though we didn’t visit often, each visit was so enjoyable by all. I remember Barbara’s 16th birthday party at her parent’s home. I was so proud to be invited. It was truly an honor to be her friend and thought about her so much with that terrible disease. Peace be with Barbara and all her family.
Dear Kelly, Holly, and Dawn, May God bless you with grace and peace in your hearts as you navigate through this time. Your Mother was a class act that I always looked up to with high regard. It was an honor that she allowed me to baby set and love each one of you as you grew up. Your Mom, Dad, and all three of you girls, oh yes, and Dino & Tony, were a special part of my life…the bigger dogs not as much! I will always cherished those memories. Barbara always had a smile, a laugh, and a soft disposition. I will truly miss her. Mom also sends her regards as she thought the world of your Mother.
With Deepest Sympathy and Love, Kay Dove
I was so sorry to learn of Barbara’s passing. I knew her because she worked with my mother, Alma Lee Lancaster, at the Health Department. They were good friends. She was a wonderful, funny and kind person.
I know this is a very difficult time and I pray for strength for her remaining family.
My mom, Alma Lee Lancaster, worked closely with Barbara at the Health Department. She always loved her and she commented that Barbara was a close friend. I’m so sorry for your loss, I pray God will bring healing to your souls.

To Barbara’s family, you are in my prayers. I was one of Barbara’s classmates at CCHS. It was always a blessing when our paths crossed. May God grant you peace.
