March 26, 1986 – September 8, 2022
Fallon Victoria Boyce / Long (36) lost her battle with Bi-Polar disorder in Charles County, MD on September 8, 2022. She was born at Kirtland Air Force Base, in Albuquerque NM in 1985. She was a military brat.
She is survived by her two amazing young sons, ages 13 & 10, whom she loved so very much. Her heart broken parents, who know how hard she fought this horrible condition and how special she really was, Mark and Kathy Long, her loving & devoted brother & sister in law, Mark and Solange Long. Her special Maryland family who enjoyed watching her grow from child to adult: her loving & generous Mom Mom, Susanne Long who proceeded her in death, Pop Pop William Long & Aunt Robin. Her kind & caring New Mexico family: Nana Gloria Garcia who adoringly watched her grow from baby to young child, ThaTha Johnny Garcia, who proceeded her in death, Uncles Anthony, Johnny, Oracio, Auntie Andrea & Uncle Glen, Cousin Sharon. She made many special friends throughout her life, including Craig Millet, who loved her.
Throughout school, Fallon was active in sports and volunteered & worked for non-profits that provided services for individuals with various abilities. Her interest in making a difference in lives of those with challenges, particularly children, led her to obtain a Bachelors in Social Science from Frostburg State University in Maryland. She worked as a Special Education Teacher and Special Needs Caregiver for Charles County Public schools. She was a kind and compassionate person who loved and shared her home with all types of animals, dogs, cats, and even chickens.
In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe account https://www.gofundme.com/s22fe-grandsons-education has been set up for her boys education. Celebration of her life will take place in New Mexico at a later time. Her passing will leave a hole in the hearts of family and friends who loved and cared for her. We must remove the stigma attached to this disorder. To learn more about Bi-Polar disorder https://www.nami.org
