Sharon Horsmon Towe
October 27, 1955 – January 26, 2022
Sharon Faye Horsmon Towe passed away on Wednesday, January 26 at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas surrounded by family. Sharon was born in Prince Frederick Maryland on 10/27/55 to the late William A. and Gertrude E. Horsmon.
Sharon lived and went to school in Calvert County, Maryland and graduated from The Calverton School in 1973. She enjoyed playing sports and especially loved playing softball. She went to college in New Hampshire where she pursued a degree in biology. Sharon worked at the Naval Research Center in Randalls Cliffs, MD and then was transferred to Mississippi. Sharon traveled and lived in several states where most of her time was spent in Denver, Colorado. After settling in Denver, she worked as a Dental Office Manager. After retirement, she moved to Cherokee Village, Arkansas. Sharon had a green thumb when it came to her love for gardening with all kinds of flowers from Spring to Fall everywhere she lived, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Her loving heart and huge smile that lit up a room will be missed most of all.
She is survived by her husband Phillip Towe, children Nicole Madosik, Andria Sandoval (Shannon) James and Jonathan Towe and grandchildren Kaleb Walters and Ari Sandoval, her brothers John (Darlene), Richard and Howard (Debbie) Horsmon and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Waters Memorial United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 21st at 11am.
