Robert Wayne Wilcox
July 20, 1964 – April 21, 2022
Robert Wayne Wilcox, 57, passed away April 20, 2022. He was born July 20, 1964 in Annapolis, MD to Louise Chestlo. Robert was raised in Edgewater, MD where he spent his days crabbing on the South River and tinkering with project cars. He graduated from South River High School in 1982 before he began his career working at the IRS. He worked for the IRS for over 30 years as a systems analyst. In 1991 Robert moved to Calvert County where he continued to build his passion for working on project motorcycles and cars. Robert custom built two Harley Davidsons, named “Pearl” and “Dragon”. He loved riding down country roads to motorcycle shows, where he won many trophies that he displayed throughout the house. To the many fortunate enough to have known him he was a constant source of humor and positivity. He was loved by many, and will be greatly missed.
Robert lives within his daughter, Amberleigh Wilcox, and brother, Edward Wilcox. He is laughing and cracking dad jokes in heaven with his mother, Louise Chestlo, and sister, Robin Stone.

I was so sorry to learn of Rob’s passing. He was a great co-worker. His knowledge and patience helped me work through many issues and I enjoyed talking with him about bikes. I will keep your family in my prayers for peace and comfort.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked remotely with Rob for over a decade. We talked about bikes and Rally’s. He saw my bike on my wall paper and discovered we had something in common. He shared photos of his bikes and his passion for custom building. He had a wonderful personality and made me laugh with his way with words. I miss him already. May the perpetual light shine upon his soul. God bless.
Ride free, Rob! No more pumps, no more meds! Met Rob in a class shortly after I joined IRS 31 years ago!
Later on, we talked about insulin pumps…something he had in common with my husband…along with the love of Harleys!
Always positive!
Rob…ride free, no more pumps/tests…enjoy the breeze.
Prayers and blesssings to Rob’s loved ones!
Robert, I will miss you and the wonderful dinners and desserts we share. You will always be my funny clown. I had a great time decorating your house with clowns, leaving them all over the house to scare you. Clyde is devastated. Love you and will miss your kind and caring heart Ride on to a peaceful home.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I knew Rob through work and used to live in North Beach, not far from him. He was always so kind and friendly, very warm person. Due to teleworking, I hadn’t seen him in awhile and was sad to learn of his passing. Prayers for your family during this difficult time.
