Uncle Dillard will always be remembered as kind hearted loving, Fun loving unpredictable twin to Our father Wilbur Campbell. Those two were hilarious together, you never knew what shenanigans they were getting into, from selling Christmas trees to going to the Auctions & Flea markets you never knew what they would come home with, when we were young they came home with boxes of ice-skating, I believe everyone in the neighborhood got skates that year!! I loved going to the bull and oyster roasts with him and Aunt Dorthy. Some very memorable nights. Rest in peace Uncle Dillard for we will never forget your kindness and the love you had for Our family. Love you your niece Brenda , My heart breaks for my Aunt and cousins truly a great loss to Our family.
Uncle Dillard. May you RIP. 🙏🏻 You and I were never blood related but you were always my Uncle Dillard. Your family was my family too. ♥️ When you stopped by Wilbur’s Home or the Tree stand 🎄 or the Fruit Stand, you always had a big smile and extend a huge hug to me and said “Hello Kitten”! 🥰 Always had a wide eye grin on your face and so nice. I used to love when you were together with Wilbur, you guys were hilarious and made so many of us have a belly laugh or two. I remember a time when Brenda was so excited that Uncle Dillard was bringing down a huge Christmas Tree 🎄 for her. That’s all I heard about was this tree! And it was gorgeous, I know she cherished that tree. She bragged to everyone about that tree and I’m sure she felt so Special that you thought enough of her to personally deliver it to her. But that’s just how you were, a heart of gold just like your brother. May you Rest In Peace and watch over Aunt Dorthy, she’s going to be looking for her Guardian Angel. Love you 🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️🙏🏻🙏🏻 Mary Jane & Marvin

Dillard has been a wonderful neighbor to us for over 30 years. My children grew up with his head rubs and wet kisses. Many a good conversation came when Dillard was around. His wife and children have been a wonderful family to live next to. Dillard we will miss you terribly. The conversations in the road, the plumbing projects, snakes in the basement, on and on. So glad that you, Dorotha, are home and on the mend. Praying for all of you during this hard time. He was quite the legend.

I knew Dillard for many years in The Calvert Optimist Club where he was really involved did a lot of work. He will be missed by many.
Prayers to the family in your time of sorrow.
We knew Dillard as “The Iron Man” from the Calvert County Flea Market. We always enjoyed talking with him and purchased several pieces of his iron cookware. He was an amazing person and will be missed by many.
