Pamela Gail Tettimer
September 6, 1958 – October 8, 2021
On October 8th 2021 at 11:23 am our mother Pamela Gail “Fowler” Tettimer went home to be with God and is now pain free.
Pam is joining her late husband Thomas Tettimer (Tommy T.) and her parents William Preston Fowler and June E. Fowler both from Adelina.
Pam’s surviving family members are her three children; Valerie (Val) Mayer & her husband Brian, Gary Willis & his wife Nicole, Nicki Wasson & her husband Chris,
Step- son Chris Tettimer & his spouse Donna, Step-daughter Missy Thrasher & husband Brian. She is also Survived by her beloved grandchildren Madison, Kylie, Sadie, Preslee, Averie, Karis & Allie, Sean, Taylor & Connor, and her siblings; William “Foozie” Fowler & his wife Karen, Barbara Fowler Fox & her husband Steve. Carolyn “Dawnie” Cranford & her husband Donnie, and her nieces and nephews and many cousins all whom she loved dearly.
Pam was many things. A smile and kind word for anyone who needed one. A wise counsel for all who needed guidance. A faithful spouse and friend at all times. She worked hard and diligently at all she set her sights on. She worked her way up through the ranks to retire as a USPS Postmaster. After retiring she was bored! If you know her you know how true that statement is!
She then took college courses earning her enough credits in Childhood Education to open her own childcare center (all just because she wanted to keep learning)
Following in her eldest daughters’ footsteps she then went back to school and earned her MD Real Estate License. She also drove buses for the Calvert County School district
However, by far she would tell you the greatest title she ever held was Me-Me. She enjoyed every minute she had with them, always speaking into their lives, reminding them to chase their dreams, love God, keep learning. She spoiled them endlessly and they were her pride & joy! She was and is their forever hero.
To her children Val, Gary & Nicki she was their rock. Their confidant, trusted advisor & best friend. They will miss her immeasurably.
To her friends and Calvert County Community she was present and kind. She was loyal and loving. She genuinely wanted everyone to be happy and succeed.
Pam was a lady in the truest since of the word.
Delicate and strong, proper and intelligent. Kind and full of Grace. Most of all she was courageous and fought cancer like the true warrior she was.
Outliving what all of the specialists said she would . She held out for her children and grandchildren and she had our mighty God and the prayers of her loved ones to hold her steady.
To say Pam will be missed is an understatement. She was a light in this world that shone bright.
The good news is Pam was a believer in Jesus and he promises that to all whom believe, we will see each other again.
Thank you to each of you that loved and cared for her during her lifetime, she especially those who were by her side these last 2.5 years. In the end she knew truly loved her and that’s what matters most of all.
Until we meet again mom,
Val, Gee & Nick

Pam, I am glad I had the pleasure to know you. You were always a bright light to all. You made everyone feel like family by welcoming them with a hug and smile. This world will not be the same without you. I had fun with you while handling fundraisers. You will always be remembered.
Here’s to you, Pam… thank you for your friendship & support, especially during our family’s crisis years ago. I only wish I could’ve returned the kindness. Rest awhile in Paradise, then gather your wits and organize Heaven-we know you will. Hugs.
Nikki, God bless you and your family. I loved listening to the stories you told of your mom, and also her extreme will to fight and live. I wish I was able to meet her. She will forever live on in the beautiful family she had. God bless you and your family.

I am so sorry for this loss. You can measure a mother by how wonderful her kids are. Based on that, the numbers don’t go that high.
Rest in God’s loving arms Pam, you put up a valent fight now you will feel no more pain. My prayers go out to your loving family and to Clarke. Love to you all, Rita Hidalgo Buckmaster
We are deeply saddened by your loss. Pam was such a joyous spirit. May loving memories provide comfort to Nikki, Val & Gary (the entire family) during this difficult time.
