Virginia Catherine Johnson
February 11, 1946 – September 30, 2021
Virginia Catherine Johnson, 75, of Dunkirk passed away September 30, 2021. She was born February 11, 1946 in Lonaconing, MD to Forrest Anderson and Jenna Mae (Wagner) Miller. Virginia grew up in Western Maryland and moved to North Beach when she was 15 years old. She graduated from Calvert High School in 1963. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, volunteering at church luncheons and events, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Shelly Johnson (Tracy) of Bowie, Christina Thomas of Hollywood, and Erik Johnson (Charlene) of Dunkirk, grandchildren Emma, Lillian, and Samantha Thomas, and Alexander and Gage Johnson, and sisters Linda Jessen, Gloria Baker (Gerry) and Cleta Cranford (John).

I will miss you so much My Big Sister! You taught me so much and were there for me whenever I needed you. You were my biggest cheerleader and mentor and showed me the importance of family and remaining close. I miss our daily texts/chats but I know I can talk to you any time I want to – I will just Look UP! And there you are. Always.
