Deepest sympathy to Lloyd’s family. There are no words to help with your loss at this time, but know that your Dad was loved and admired by so many. His smile and friendly personality was so endearing and his love of family admired. Prayers for trying times ahead 🙏🏻 Those memories so close that hurt you today will bring you comfort and smiles down the road of healing
My heart is broke such a wonderful man!! He always treated me like a sister even thou I was his sister in law fly high skippy NEVER FORGOTTEN! 409 always 😭😭😭😭 love ya bro!! My daughter loved u so much she’s a mess 💔! I have no more words speechless!!
For the entire Bennett Family. Robert and I send our deepest condolences to each and every one of you. My brother Charlie worked for Shadyside Auto by Lloyd’s side for 25 years. My family was deeply saddened by the news. Ribera did I had the pleasure of meeting Lloyd and sharing stories on numerous occasions. God bless each and every one of you. Robert and Ruth DeVelbis
Our deepest sympathies to the Bennett family. Lloyd was a generous, honest and kind man. We always went to Shady Side Auto for our cars and truck. We always received excellent service and enjoyed seeing Lloyd. Sending prayers for him and his family.
I remember when Lloyd 1st came to Shady Side. They still served gas then. I had not been down to the area in a while and last time I saw him he gave me a big hug. Reminded me that I was one of his 1st customers. I coached his daughter. He will be missed. Love to Pam and all the family.
Not only was Lloyd a great mechanic but very compassionate as well- he came and jumped my car (for free)- and towed me several times- I know he kindly thought I was a “blonde”- he was quiet (until my husband started talking cars or bikes). A true pillar of the community- would love popping in (early ‘90’s) and see little kids hanging out w/the “manager” (mom) ❤️- so appreciated him helping my friend Jesse. It’s evident now how close your family is- let this bring you closer. Hugs and prayers . Judy “Reed” Jarboe
As a retired AACO Police Corporal, I remember Lloyd helping us on traffic accidents, pulling wrecked cars apart, clearing the road and pulling cars out of those deep south County ditches! Some were Police Cars that slid off the road, he always helped us out and did so with a smile. I think he got a chuckle out of that.. Lloyd You will be missed!

When my brother shared that Lloyd passed, I didn’t want to believe it. Whenever I took my car to his shop, he was very polite and professional. May God continue to be with his family and bring them comfort and peace.

Lloyd helped to breath life back into my ’62 Impala — his favorite car. My thoughts and prayers are with Miss Amy and the rest of the family.
