Mary Lou was such a love! She resided in the room across from my dad at St. Mary’s Nursing Home. I visited almost daily; she enjoyed hanging out with dad and I. She smiled when I told her how pretty her red hair was, and she’d let me know when she was cold needing a sweater or a blanket. Dad passed away in January 2019. Last summer when I was there she clearly asked ‘where’s pop?’ Her memory was fading yet she recalled dad. It touched my heart. May God bless her soul.

Thank you Denise. Mom enjoyed talking to your dad and just being around people. I’m sure they will see each other in heaven.
