Frankie Lee Wright, 86, of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed away February 10, 2024 at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. He was born on June 19, 1937, in West Virginia to Frank and Effie Griffith.
Frankie lived for his family above all things. He served his country in Korea very proudly, as well as a firefighter for D.C. He ran his own company for forty years where he made friends everywhere he went. He was beyond loved by his family and friends and will now rest peacefully looking down on them all.
Frankie is survived by his children, Kenneth Wright of South Carolina, Ashley Wright of Prince Frederick, MD, and LeAlyson Wright and her fiancé Michael of Upper Marlboro, MD; grandchildren Crystal, Persephony, Annabella, and Carmella. He was preceded in death by his sons, Frank and Ronald Wright; and his parents, Frank and Effie.
