Robert “Bob” L. Williams Jr

Robert “Bob” L. Williams Jr., age 69, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on August 16, 2023, at 8:16 p.m.

He was born December 28, 1953, in Washington, D.C. to Robert and Marjorie (Thaxton) Williams.

He leaves behind the love of his life Terry (Cretsinger); children: Bobbi (Nevin), Michael (Amy), Julie (Charlie), and Kimberly (Aaron); nine grandchildren: Samantha and Jake (Megan); Kyle and Shane, Lance, Madeline, and Elliot, and Baby Barchers, one great-grandson, Zackery; sisters: Sandra, Sherry and Cindy and brother: Donald, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert, and his mother, Marjorie.

Bob and Terry met in the little town of Barstow, MD. The way the story goes, Bob asked Terry to marry him when he was ten years old and she was eight. They were officially married on January 14, 1972, and six short months later Bobbi was born. Michael arrived two years later, followed by Julie and Kimberly. Bob encouraged his children to grow, learn, and live life to the fullest. He was a Union carpenter with Local 132 for 37 years and retired at age 55.

His favorite adventures were with Terry by his side, on road trips in the Beast or their Harleys, traveling everywhere from Ocean City to Deep Creek Lake, Outer Banks, Montana, Florida, and everywhere between.
